Replacement Glass for Electronic Cigarettes and Clearomizers

Replacement glass forms the transparent e-liquid reservoir used on many clearomizers and atomizers. It allows users to monitor remaining liquid and can generally be replaced separately when cracked or broken.

Glass tanks are available in numerous diameters, shapes and capacities. Each version is designed for a specific clearomizer or atomizer, making compatibility essential.

Straight or Bubble glass

Straight glass maintains a relatively uniform diameter and generally provides a compact appearance that follows the main dimensions of the clearomizer.

Bubble glass expands through the middle of the tank and provides increased e-liquid capacity without significantly increasing overall height. It is particularly useful with subohm clearomizers where liquid consumption is higher.

The choice between straight and Bubble glass depends on capacity, appearance and device compatibility.

A device-specific replacement part

Replacement glass is not universal. Two tanks with similar dimensions can use different heights, seals, chimney designs or internal diameters.

Always check the exact clearomizer or atomizer name and generation before ordering a replacement.

When should replacement glass be changed?

Glass should be replaced when cracked, chipped or broken. Even a small crack can compromise tank sealing and result in e-liquid leakage.

Replacement is also advisable when significant damage appears around the areas contacting the seals.

Minor staining or residue does not necessarily require replacement if the glass remains physically intact.

How to replace clearomizer glass

Empty the tank as much as possible before disassembly. The clearomizer can then be carefully taken apart to release the damaged glass.

Check O-rings before fitting the new tank section. A worn, pinched or incorrectly positioned seal can cause leakage even with new glass.

Reassemble the tank without excessive force, as overtightening can place unnecessary stress on the glass.

Cleaning and maintaining replacement glass

Glass can be cleaned regularly to remove e-liquid residue and lingering flavour, particularly when changing between very different e-liquids.

After disassembly, rinse and dry the glass thoroughly before reassembly. Electronic components and unsuitable parts should of course be treated separately.

Regular cleaning also makes it easier to identify small cracks before they develop into more serious damage.

Glass shape and tank capacity

E-liquid capacity depends directly on glass shape and dimensions. Straight tanks often provide lower capacity than compatible Bubble versions.

Increased capacity reduces filling frequency, which can be useful with high-output subohm coils. The trade-off is usually a wider tank profile.

Always use dimensions and capacities intended for the specific clearomizer to maintain proper sealing.
