    Châtel-St-Denis store opening

    The initial spark, the Veveyse region and the digital shift

    On 7 August 2018, François Bordon officially founded Viper Smoke. Driven by the desire to offer smokers a superior-quality alternative, the “Big Boss” laid the foundations of the adventure with a powerful two-pronged approach: opening the first physical store on Grand-Rue in Châtel-Saint-Denis while simultaneously launching the online store.

    From the very first day, the website removed geographical barriers and made it possible to deliver quickly to vapers throughout Switzerland, while the physical store became the testing ground for our personalised advice.

  2. 2019

    Romont store opening

    Heading towards the Glâne region

    Building on the success of this hybrid model combining a physical store and e-commerce, Viper Smoke expanded the following year. In 2019, the Romont store opened its doors on Route de la Gare.

    The brand became a natural part of the local Glâne community, strengthening its reputation as an essential specialist in electronic cigarettes and certified, high-quality e-liquids.

    Fribourg and Bulle store openings

    A year of major expansion

    The year 2022 marked a strategic turning point, with the brand doubling its physical presence in the canton of Fribourg. Supported by the continued growth of the expertly managed online store, the network expanded further.

    The historic heart: Fribourg

    Viper Smoke opened a store on Rue de Lausanne in Fribourg, bringing its expertise to the centre of life in the cantonal capital.

    The energy of the Gruyère region: Bulle

    At the same time, the Bulle store opened on Grand-Rue to meet the demand of a dynamic local customer base eager to discover the latest hardware innovations and sophisticated flavours.

    Châtel-St-Denis: the building is damaged by fire

    A trial by fire… and unwavering resilience

    In 2026, the building housing our Châtel-Saint-Denis store suffered a serious setback: a fire broke out and devastated the apartment located directly above the shop.

    The outcome reflects the company’s remarkable good fortune: the Viper Smoke store remained operational! The Veveyse store never stopped welcoming its customers. Supported more than ever by the online store and the three other shops in the canton, Viper Smoke demonstrated its ability to overcome adversity and guarantee uninterrupted service to its loyal community.
