Reusable ELFBAR ELFA Pro cartridges: use your favourite e-liquid

The reusable ELFBAR ELFA Pro cartridges let you enjoy the simplicity of the ELFA system whilst choosing your own e-liquid.

Unlike the pre-filled cartridges in the range, these pods are supplied empty and can be filled with the e-liquid of your choice.

Each cartridge features a 2 ml tank and has a built-in 1.1 ohm resistor.

Each refillable ELFA cartridge has a built-in 0.8 or 1.1 ohm resistor.

There is therefore no need to purchase or fit a resistor separately.

When the resistor reaches the end of its life, the entire cartridge must be replaced.

These values of 0.8 or 1.1 ohms are designed to maintain a relatively smooth vapour, with reasonable e-liquid consumption and flavour delivery suited to the compact design of the ELFA system.

Easy refilling thanks to the silicone cap

ELFBAR has retained a particularly user-friendly design.

On the side of the cartridge is an opening protected by a small silicone cap.

To refill, remove the cartridge from the battery, gently open this cap and then insert the bottle’s nozzle into the designated opening.

Fill the tank without exceeding its 2 ml capacity, then carefully replace the cap to minimise the risk of leakage.

After filling a new cartridge for the first time, it is essential to allow sufficient time for the e-liquid to soak into the cotton in the resistor.

We recommend waiting approximately 10 to 15 minutes before using it for the first time.

This priming stage allows the cotton to soak up the e-liquid properly and significantly reduces the risk of premature damage to the resistor or a burnt taste.

How do you use a refillable ELFA Pro cartridge?

Start by removing a new cartridge from its packaging. Next, open the silicone cap on the side of the tank and fill the cartridge with the e-liquid of your choice.

Close the cap securely, then leave the cartridge to stand for 10 to 15 minutes after the first fill.

Once the resistor has been properly primed, simply insert the cartridge into your compatible ELFA battery.

The system retains all the simplicity that makes the range so popular: no complex handling or power adjustments are required on ELFA batteries, which operate via an automatic draw mechanism.

When should you replace your refillable ELFA cartridge?

Although it can be refilled several times, a refillable ELFA cartridge is still a consumable item.

As the resistor is built-in and cannot be replaced separately, the entire cartridge must be replaced when the resistor’s performance begins to decline.

Unusual changes in flavour, the persistent presence of an unpleasant or burnt taste, a significant drop in vapour production, or repeated leaks may indicate that it is time to fit a new cartridge.

The lifespan depends in particular on the frequency of use, the e-liquid used and the number of times it has been refilled.
