Electronic cigarette refill in Switzerland

Reloading

Knowing how to charge your batteries correctly is essential. The old generation of batteries (NiCd) benefited from a charging memory effect, so you had to wait until the battery was completely discharged before you could recharge it, otherwise you would lose performance With the new generation of batteries there is no longer any obligation, you can recharge your batteries even if they are 5 or 10% discharged. It is even preferable to recharge your batteries when they are not completely discharged in order to extend their life.

For more safety, it is strongly advised to use an external battery charger for recharging. Indeed, a battery heats up more when recharging in an electronic cigarette than in an external charger and in rare cases it could overheat and catch fire. In any case never cover your e-cigarette or your external charger when you recharge and do not leave anything flammable nearby.

Electronic cigarettes, when the voltage of your batteries reaches about 3.5 volts, you naturally indicate that they are discharged and this for the sake of durability of your battery but this is not at all the case with a mechanical mod. If you are in possession of a box or a mech tube, do not delay too much before recharging your batteries, indeed these last ones deteriorate past the threshold of approximately 2.5 volts.

For safety reasons, if your batteries are damaged, never delay before rewrapping them (change the casing), in the case where they are pressed or crushed, get rid of them in the collection points provided for this purpose. Only transport your batteries in boxes or silicones.
