Muted+ RTA SE Arcana Mods & PIPELINE: a highly versatile, high-end rebuildable Atomizer

The Muted+ RTA SE is the special edition of the renowned rebuildable Atomizer developed by Arcana Mods in collaboration with PIPELINE.

This new version retains all the technical qualities of the Muted+ RTA whilst featuring a more exclusive design.

It stands out in particular for its tank, which combines steel and glass, as well as its Pure top cap, giving it a more refined appearance than the standard version.

With its compact 22 mm diameter, 4.1 ml tank and, above all, its particularly advanced airflow system, the Muted+ RTA SE is aimed at experienced vapers who want to be able to adjust their draw with great precision.

Whether you prefer tight MTL, more open MTL or RDL: the numerous Airpins and various airflow configurations allow you to truly tailor the Atomizer’s performance to your preferences.

What are the differences between the Muted+ RTA SE and the standard Muted+ RTA?

The difference between the two versions mainly concerns their aesthetics.

Whilst the standard Muted+ RTA features a large glass tank, this special edition features a tank combining steel and glass.

The Muted+ RTA SE also comes with the Pure top cap, whereas the standard version is supplied with the Muted top cap.

The key features and functionality of the Muted+ therefore remain identical.

This SE edition is primarily aimed at users who appreciate the performance and versatility of the Muted+, but wish to enjoy a more exclusive finish and a different design.

A 3-in-1 airflow system

Airflow is one of the standout features of the Muted+ RTA SE.

Depending on the Airpins fitted, three main configurations are possible: Triple-Air, Side-Air or Bottom-Air.

The Side-Air directs the airflow laterally towards the Resistor. The Bottom-Air channels air directly beneath the Resistor, whilst the Triple-Air allows you to combine the airflow paths to achieve different vaping characteristics.

This design gives the vaper great freedom to adjust their draw and vaping experience without needing to replace the deck or fit complex components.

The Muted+ RTA SE can therefore cater for different vaping styles, ranging from a relatively tight MTL to a more open RDL.

An airflow system that is virtually invisible from the outside

The air inlets have been cleverly integrated into the Atomizer’s structure and remain particularly discreet when viewed from the outside.

This design contributes to the Muted+ RTA SE’s sleek aesthetics, but also offers genuine practical benefits.

In particular, it makes the Atomizer particularly well-suited for use with certain side-by-side mods.

In this type of setup, a traditional external air intake can sometimes end up too close to the mod’s body and become partially obstructed.

The design of the Muted+ minimises this problem and makes it easier to integrate into various types of setups.

An atomizer designed for a very quiet vaping experience

The name ‘Muted’ was not chosen at random.

Arcana Mods and PIPELINE have engineered the airflow channels to minimise turbulence and the noise produced during inhalation.

With a correctly positioned Resistor and a suitable Airpin configuration, the Muted+ RTA SE thus offers a particularly quiet vaping experience.

The various configurations also allow you to adjust the sensation felt in the throat.

In Bottom-Air mode, for example, the hit can become noticeably smoother.

It is therefore possible to adjust the diameter of the Airpins, the direction of the airflow and the resistor positioning simultaneously to find a configuration perfectly suited to your preferences.

A build deck designed for precise resistor positioning

On such a versatile atomizer, the position of the resistor is particularly important.

The Muted+ RTA SE’s deck therefore features a guide to help you easily position the resistor at the recommended height.

This positioning is particularly important when the Atomizer is used in Side-Air mode, as the resistor must be correctly aligned with the airflow.

For use in Bottom-Air or Triple-Air modes, Arcana Mods recommends lowering the resistor slightly, by approximately 0.2 mm.

This small adjustment helps to optimise airflow around the coil.

An unusually noisy Atomizer may indicate that the Resistor has been positioned too high.

14 Airpins included

The Muted+ RTA SE comes with a particularly comprehensive set of 14 Airpins.

The kit includes 10 Airpins for side airflow and 4 Airpins for bottom airflow, including closed Airpins.

One of the system’s advantages is the ability to swap Airpins via the 510 connection.

This means there is no need to remove the Resistor every time you wish to test a new configuration.

Additional Airpins are also available to further expand the range of adjustment options.

For a particularly tight MTL draw, diameters of 0.6 mm and 0.7 mm are available.

For a more open MTL draw, you can choose Airpins of 1.1 mm or 1.2 mm.

RDL enthusiasts, meanwhile, can opt for diameters of 1.3 mm, 1.4 mm or 1.6 mm.

Bottom-Air Airpins measuring 1.0 mm, 1.4 mm and 1.6 mm also allow you to fine-tune the behaviour of the air intake located beneath the Resistor.

A compact 4.1 ml tank

Despite its diameter of just 22 mm, the Muted+ RTA SE boasts a generous e-liquid capacity of 4.1 ml.

This capacity allows for relatively compact dimensions without unduly compromising on battery life.

For users who wish to have a larger tank, optional extensions allow you to add an extra 2 ml, bringing the total capacity to 6.1 ml.

Filling is carried out from the top to make day-to-day use easier.

An easy-to-use e-liquid control system

The Muted+ RTA SE also features an e-liquid flow control system.

Its operation is deliberately simple: simply turn the top cap to adjust the e-liquid flow.

This mechanism is based on a principle already used on the Arcana 22 and allows you to adjust the e-liquid flow to the resistor without requiring multiple steps.

The e-liquid control is a real advantage on a rebuildable atomizer, as it allows you to fine-tune the build’s performance according to the configuration used and the e-liquid chosen.

A 316L stainless steel design

The Muted+ RTA SE’s premium positioning is also reflected in its choice of materials.

Its construction notably features 316L stainless steel, PEEK, glass and POM.

The 22 mm diameter ensures a relatively slim profile and makes it easy to pair with a wide range of mods, particularly compact or side-by-side setups.

Without the drip tip, the Muted+ RTA SE stands 40.5 mm tall.

Its 510 connection allows it to be fitted onto mods compatible with this standard.

A highly customisable design

Customisation isn’t limited to the airflow characteristics.

Arcana Mods and PIPELINE offer various accessories to alter the appearance of the Muted+ RTA SE.

In particular, you can use a Diamond-Cut conversion kit, various top caps, several tank kits, as well as coloured rings placed beneath the top cap.

Many components are also compatible with the previous Muted RTA.

There are, however, some exceptions, notably for the decorative rings and the lower Airpins.

Owners of the previous generation can therefore reuse some of their accessories whilst upgrading to the Muted+.

When should you choose the Muted+ RTA SE?

The Muted+ RTA SE is primarily aimed at experienced vapers who wish to take the customisation of their atomizer much further than is possible with a traditional Clearomizer.

It will be particularly well-suited to rebuildable enthusiasts looking for a compact 22 mm RTA capable of handling several draw styles.

Its greatest strength lies in the combination of its Airpins and its various airflow configurations.

The vaper can adjust the diameter of the air inlet, its source and the positioning of the resistor to achieve a truly personalised vaping experience.

It therefore represents a particularly attractive option for MTL and RDL enthusiasts who place great importance on draw precision, quiet operation and flavour reproduction.

Features of the Muted+ RTA SE

The Muted+ RTA SE has a diameter of 22 mm and a height of 40.5 mm without the drip tip.

Its tank has a capacity of 4.1 ml, which can be increased to 6.1 ml with an optional 2 ml extension.

It is made from 316L stainless steel, PEEK, glass and POM.

Its airflow system allows for various single, dual or triple configurations suited to both MTL and RDL vaping.

It also features top-fill refilling, e-liquid control, discreet air inlets and a standard 510 connection.

A true RTA for rebuildable enthusiasts

The Muted+ RTA SE is not an atomizer fitted with pre-made, interchangeable resistors.

It is a genuine rebuildable RTA: the resistor must be installed and wick-wrapped manually before use.

It is therefore primarily intended for users who are already familiar with resistor building and the safety guidelines associated with rebuildable equipment.

In return, this design offers a particularly high level of customisation.
