If you have just fitted a new resistor, do not start vaping straight away.

After filling the cartridge, wait for about 10 minutes to allow the cotton in the coil to soak up the e-liquid properly.

This priming step reduces the risk of heating a resistor whose cotton is still too dry, which could cause a burnt taste from the very first puffs.
